Several years ago I built a website for a friend who coached baseball at a local school.  The site was built on joomla and put up fairly quickly just to meet his needs to communicate with his players and parents.  He has since moved on to coach and teach at another high school, but the new coach and boosters approached me about updating the site, and they had a few additional requirements. 

To meet their needs, we set up a Wordpress as a CMS and created a custom theme.  In addition, existing plugins  were installed to satisfy their specifications, including multiple calendars, image galleries, sponsored advertising, and email/newsletter/mailing list functionality.
